Have you ever heard the words “Kundalini Yoga” and wondered what that meant? Well, now’s your chance to find out! Join Katy Walsh (our Kundalini Katy!) starting this Friday, October 1st for a Kundalini Beginners Series.
This 4-week beginner's series will guide you through an exciting experience of your Self. Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness and gives you the access and ability to transcend the human challenges we face and transform the energy into contribution and creativity which makes way for an optimal life experience.
The first week in the series will take you through the 8 energy "hubs", or, chakras, of the body, beginning at the base of the spine and ending with the all-encompassing aura. This "chakra tune-up" will introduce you to the essence of Kundalini yoga and leave you feeling refreshed as the experience will break up stagnation in your body, allowing you to transcend into creative flow. The second week focuses specifically on the lower three chakras, or, the lower triangle and the third week gets us into the heart chakra. To end, we crown the series with a kriya, a set of actions designed for a specific purpose, and meditation focused on the upper three chakras and aura. It is highly suggested to commit to all 4 classes so you can build on your knowledge and understanding from the basics.
This series will be In-studio only. Space is limited.
