Yoga for Arthritis

This vinyasa style class will take you through various postures meant to provide nutrition to and improve mobility of all your major joints. Appropriate for individuals with any stage of arthritis or those looking to prevent arthritis

Led by a physical therapist, Elizabeth Bryan, DPT, we will discuss joint anatomy and the difference between osteo and rheumatoid arthritis and then flow through a series of postures meant to target individual joints.

About Elizabeth Bryan: Elizabeth was first introduced to yoga in college and finally began to build a consistent studio practice in 2014. Seeing the benefits both on and off the mat for herself, she wanted to share the amazing principles of yoga with her patients. In that spirit, she completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with Sage Yoga and Wellness in Boise.

At her day job, Elizabeth is a Physical Therapist (DPT) working at a small, outpatient, private practice in Nampa, Idaho. In her classes expect to hear anatomical terms and be offered numerous pathways to gain your desired results. Her philosophy is that yoga is for every body and she is on a mission to make yoga accessible to all!
