Co-Founder & Yoga Instructor
Teresa’s yoga journey began in 1998 as part of her recovery from a traumatic back injury that left her with chronic pain. What began as a path to physical healing soon grew into a transformative practice that helped her discover strength, resilience, and a deeper sense of peace. Over the years, yoga has become the foundation of her life, inspiring her to live with mindfulness, intention, and a passion for sharing its benefits with others.
Teresa began teaching in 2012, initially focusing on donation-based classes for seniors and partnering with nonprofits to bring yoga to underserved communities. In 2017, she earned her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification through Sage Yoga & Wellness in Boise, Idaho, and has since expanded her expertise with certifications in Yin, Restorative, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Yoga Tune Up®. Her teaching is deeply rooted in Hatha yoga traditions while also drawing inspiration from Anusara, Iyengar, and Vini yoga practices.
As the co-founder and owner of 2C Yoga, with two vibrant locations in Canyon County, Idaho, Teresa has created a welcoming space where yoga is truly accessible to everyone. Her classes balance challenge and compassion, encouraging students to explore their potential while ensuring beginners feel supported and included. Known for her warmth and humor, Teresa’s classes are often filled with joy and laughter, creating an environment where students feel both safe and inspired.
Teresa’s dedication to her craft has earned her recognition both locally and internationally. In 2019, she was invited to teach in Tuscany, Italy—a milestone that coincided with the opening of 2C Yoga. Her approach is holistic, blending movement, mindfulness, and the therapeutic tools of Yoga Tune Up® to help students connect with their bodies, relieve tension, and discover their own hidden strengths.
For Teresa, yoga is more than a practice—it’s a way to build community, foster healing, and empower others to live fully. Whether she’s leading a class, mentoring new teachers, or guiding a first-time yogi, Teresa’s mission is to create a space where everyone can find balance, joy, and a sense of belonging on their mat.
