We're going to take the mystery out of yoga! We'll focus on asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), meditation, and the philosophy of yoga. You'll explore your flexibility and strength and learn ways to manage your stress.
By the end of the 3 hours, you'll not only know that you can confidently take yoga anywhere. You'll begin to feel the benefits of regular practice on your body and mind!
We specialize in helping you to feel comfortable in the yoga poses in your body. Beginner workshops are kept small and intimate so you can receive individual attention and ask all of your questions in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
You receive a copy of "The Heart of Yoga: Developing a Personal Practice" by T. K. V. Desikachar ($18 Value). We'll use this seminal work during the series.
