During this deeply relaxing class, CJ will guide you through a series of yoga positions that will stimulate your subtle bodies, chakras, and energetic meridians. This is accomplished by engaging your connective tissue that encapsulates and creates the physiological network of communication that this energy travels. By activating this connective tissue; fascia, ligaments, and tendons are lengthened and compressed to foster greater flexibility, suppleness, and freedom of movement. The asanas are held for several minutes creating a peaceful and slow pace that facilitates relaxation and meditative awareness.
After clearing, and opening our fascial layer by way of the yin yoga posture sequence, we will attune our energetic networks that travel through the body's fascia layer by way of breath and yoga nidra. This chakra toning meditation will comprise the last half hour of class, leaving you feeling refreshed, awakened, and relaxed.
