Yoga Tune Up® is movement practice to enhance practitioners’ proprioception (body sense) and interoception (body feel) so they can move, feel, and live better in their body.

The practice combines Yogic philosophies with biomechanics and physiology to help us establish a deeper connection with our body and breath. A highlight from Yoga Tune Up® sequence is the use of rubber therapy balls to massage layers of Myofascia (connective tissues and muscles) which rejuvenates the layers, enhances awareness, and improves range of motion.

In Yoga Tune Up® class, practitioners will experience self-tissue massage using therapy balls, stretching, and preparatory exercises to harness greatest movement potential, and integrating the works into Asana practice.

In this class, Lisa will guide you using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls to reap the full benefits of the self tissue massage. You’ll learn how to apply pressure and new techniques to find relief; work with trigger points and find those hotspots in the body to stimulate energy to flow freely!
